Whitlock colleague calls James comments 'reckless'

For a while on Thursday afternoon, Jason Whitlock's name was trending on Twitter as the Fox Sports 1 talking head provided his take on LeBron James's thoughtful and powerful response to the racist vandalism incident at his house.

Whitlock declared that James's statement - no matter how rich or famous you are, "it's tough being black in America" - was "a lie."

"It's not tough being Oprah Winfrey," he said. "It's not tough being LeBron James. It's not tough being Jason Whitlock."
