Baseball fan suffers brutal proposal rejection

As we've seen play out a number of times in the past, marriage proposals at sporting events are the worst.

So much can go wrong, and sometimes people really don't like having their life-changing decisions displayed for thousands of strangers on a 100-foot videoboard. But yet, some people will never learn.

During Monday's Class-A game between the Columbia Fireflies (yeah, Tim Tebow's team) and Charleston, one fan suffered the most brutal proposal rejection.

</div> <p>The woman not only said no, but she took her purse and left the poor guy waiting there on his knee.</p> <p>Of course, that could have been staged <a rel="noopener" target="_blank" href="http://ftw.usatoday.com/2016/04/hawks-kiss-cam-pizza-amazing-yes-yes-yes">because nothing is real</a>. But there is no indication that it was staged.</p> <p>The lesson: Never propose at stadiums.</p> </body></html>
