Curry's mom paid tribute to Dancing Warriors Mom

All it took for Robin Schreiber to become Internet famous was an ugly Christmas sweater and some sick dance moves in front of an Oracle Arena camera.

From there, the 67-year-old Oakland native and freelance artist became Dancing Warriors Mom, complete with her own appearance with the Dubs' dance team and meeting the players at All-Star Weekend.

Schreiber spoke to For The Win on Friday about how she landed a spot at the parade and informed us she was invited by NBC Sports to ride behind the players in a bus with fellow Bay Area celebs, including ex-Giant legend Barry Bonds and Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson.

But the biggest highlight for her was watching the players pass by in their buses. A few looked over at her float and recognized her.

"Zaza [Pachulia] bowed to me and Steph [Curry] pointed at me," she told For The Win. "Steph's mom, she was doing my dance moves! So they definitely know me and that made it really fun for me."

She also got to see fans who paid tributes of their own.

"When people would look at me, they'd start doing my dance moves," she said, "so I knew they were showing love."

Her journey from fan in the stands to parade participant began when she gave her son a Warriors Christmas sweater and her husband bought her one too. When they attended a game soon after that last December, they pushed Schreiber up and a camera caught her quickly.

Now, with the help of her son and a student studying social media - yes, that's a major now - she's got an Instagram account, where she posts hilarious and silly raps like this one, and continues to win like the team she roots so hard for.
