Golfers have discovered the stupidest new trend

There are stupid trends, there are dangerous trends, and then there's this, which resides squarely in both categories.

It started because one of the Internet's most legendary memes - the 'would you run over your best friend' meme - made a random reemergence last week.

And so, ever since, amateur golfers everywhere have repurposed the meme by running over their friends in golf carts.
