Carlos Gomez's HR had goofiest follow through

Rougned Odor and Carlos Gomez went back-to-back with home runs in the eighth inning to put the Rangers ahead, 6-5, on Sunday. But we cannot stop looking at whatever happened to Gomez after he made contact with Brad Boxberger's pitch.

Gomez put so much into his swing that he dropped to a knee and continued to lean backwards. While trying to regain his balance, he flinched and lunged forward a bit - nearly falling over on his face.

He was able to catch himself before actually falling, but the result was one crazy follow through for a home run.

Like, that was a home run. How?

You won't see any baseball coaches teaching those swing mechanics, but we can't argue with Gomez's result on that swing.
