Chris Froome helps a journalist propose after win
Chris Froome should have held on to that traditional celebratory glass of champagne past the finish line at the 2017 Tour de France.
We kid, because the four-time Tour winner brought something better with him to a couple who got engaged after he claimed victory: A ring.
Right after clinching the win, Froome came over to Tom Calverley of Channel 4 and handed him a ring box, saying he'd been carrying it around for three weeks. Then, Calverley got down on his knee.
Calverley was grateful of course:
He told Signal 107 he got in touch with Team Sky before the Tour, who made it happen. Congratulations to the happy couple.
