UVA's Tony Bennett sends powerful message about diversity
The University of Virginia is located in Charlottesville, where a 32-year-old woman was killed last week when a man drove his car into a group of people counter-protesting white supremacists. Two troopers who were helping to monitor the situation were also killed when their helicopter crashed.
On Tuesday, Virginia basketball coach Tony Bennett released a two-minute video, where he mourned the three victims and also spoke about what he hopes his basketball program can do.

"On behalf of my coaching staff and the Virginia basketball team we believe in diversity and unity to its fullest extent. We know when those two things come together something beautiful and triumphant comes out of it," he said.
Bennett added that he hoped when his players return to campus, he and his program can reach out and help with the healing and grow themselves as people.
