Zlatan announces comeback with one epic tweet


Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of those athletes that you hate so much that after a while, you start to actually like him. His arrogance becomes so over-the-top and ridiculous that after a while, it's almost endearing.

At least that was the case last season, when the 35-year-old striker arrived in England for the first time and promptly set about tearing it apart, scoring 17 goals in just 28 appearances before a severe knee injury brought an end to his season.

It was such a bad injury that some worried that it might end his career altogether, but after an offseason in the gym, Manchester United re-signed him for one more year.

"I am back to finish what I started," he said. "I cannot wait to get back out on that Old Trafford pitch, but I also know that I have to take my time to make sure that I am ready. I have been working hard and will continue to do so to make sure I am in the best possible condition for my return to the pitch."
