DET burn Stephen A. Smith after he mocks Stafford


Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford signed a massive deal this offseason to make him the highest paid player in the NFL.

So of course everyone mocked the franchise and the vet when his first regular-season pass of 2017 landed in the hands of an Arizona Cardinal.

That included ESPN's Stephen A. Smith:

But Stafford rebounded in a serious way - he finished the afternoon with four touchdown passes to go along with 292 yards and walked away with a 35-23 victory over the Cards.
