I must say: Jeopardy! has provided some top notch television over the last week or so. Not only are we fresh off Austin Rodgers' streak, but now we have this thrilling last-gasp win…

Coming into Final Jeopardy, Carlos and Fran were locked in a tight race while Manny, the two-day defending champ, was trailing badly.

The category was "Asian Geography," and here was the clue.

Manny looked heartbroken when "Iran" was revealed as the correct answer. He just lost $999 of his $1,000.

Somewhat inexplicably, Carlos bet all his $12,300 and lost with his answer of "Azerbaijan."

Fran, too focused on looking ahead instead of behind her, also made the inexplicable error of betting - and losing - her entire pot.

This is basic Jeopardy! strategy, people. Inexcusable!
