Michigan State kicker epically celebrates after upset

Big Ten football was thrown into absolute chaos Saturday for several reasons, one of them being No. 24 Michigan State upsetting No. 7 Penn State - handing the Nittany Lions their second consecutive loss of the season - with a near-perfect last-second field goal.

The game - which was halted for three hours and 23 minutes in the middle of the second quarter because of lightening - game down to the final possession. With just more than four minutes left and the game tied at 24, Penn State went for it on 4th-and-3 and ended up turning the ball over on the Spartans' 31-yard line.

Michigan State inched up the field and ate four minutes off the clock before calling a timeout to set up the game-winning field goal with four seconds left. Enter freshman kicker Matt Coghlin, who put the ball almost directly through the middle of the uprights to lift the Spartans to a 27-24 win.

A wonderful tradition among Spartan kickers off game-winners, Coghlin celebrated in spectacular fashion, treating the wt and muddy field like a Slip 'N Slide. It was a moment of redemption for the kicker, who hit the post on multiple kicks during the Spartans' triple-overtime loss to Northwestern last week.
