Correa on planning his World Series proposal
Just moments after the Houston Astros beat the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 6 to win the World Series for the first time in franchise history, star shortstop Carlos Correa created a TV moment for the ages by proposing to his girlfriend - former Miss Texas Daniella Rodriguez - in the middle of an interview.
Correa visited Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, and revealed that he had been planning the proposal for a month.
"For the whole month I had been planning it. I knew we had a championship-caliber team, so I was waiting it out to see how far we could go.
And then in Game 6 I had the ring ready in my backpack. I'm like 'this is the night, this is the night.'
We lost the game, I'm like 'oh my gosh. One more game, I don't have a plan B so we better win.'"

Rodriguez said she had no idea it was coming.
"[I had] no idea. I mean he had been so focused on all these games that the last thing I ever thought would be on his mind was proposing to me."
