Panthers told Cam Newton what happens in 'Titanic'

Cam Newton didn't mean to call his team a sinking ship that would result in a horrific amount of casualties, but that's pretty much what he did at a press conference earlier this week when he had this bad quote:

"We just lost a great player, but nevertheless the Titanic still has to go."

So yes, Thomas Davis confirmed on Thursday. The team, like the internet, made fun of Newton for that one - and then told him about Jack freezing to death in the water.
