Peru threw craziest party after making World Cup

Peru defeated New Zealand on Wednesday, 2-0, to qualify for the nation's first World Cup in 35 years, and the scenes in Lima were absolutely bonkers.

Though New Zealand had to deal with some extreme antics leading up to and during the match ( late-night fireworks, flyovers and laser pointers), it was clear how much the World Cup qualification truly meant to the people of Peru - gamesmanship aside.

This was what it looked like as Peru locked up the final ticket to Russia.

The party did not stop.

Yeah, that win meant a lot.
