Miraculous sliding catch set up the Giants' win
Roger Lewis continued the tradition of Giants receivers making ridiculous catches.
The New York Giants locked up their second win of the season after defeating the Chiefs, 12-9, in overtime in Sunday. The stunning upset win was made possible thanks to this ridiculous grab by Roger Lewis.
In the interest of giving Lewis all of the credit, we'll ignore that the Chiefs were also called for pass interference on the play. That catch, which was made through the pass interference, was unbelievable enough to stand by its own.
Phillip Gaines' contact with Lewis was the only thing that stopped the play from becoming one of the more remarkable game-winning touchdowns we've seen in years.
The Giants would win on a chip-shot field goal.
