Jags rookie's insanely bold prediction backfired

There's confidence. There's arrogance. And then there's whatever this is, from Jacksonville Jaguars Dede Westbrook, who made his debut against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

Speaking to Sports Radio 930:

"My expectations are high. I always set the standard high for myself. For me - and this has nothing to do with the Cleveland Browns at all - but my expectations is a 200-yard receiving game. However I got to get that, of course, that's going to come with me and [quarterback] Blake [Bortles] being on the same page most of the game, but at the end of the day, that's the expectation that I have for myself this weekend."

We know the Jags beat Cleveland 19-7, but how did Westbrook get on?

He also lost a fumble.

Wow, shocker. Would've never seen that coming. Not only did Westbrook finish 172 yards shy of his prediction, but his entire team finished with 46 combined yards fewer that the total Westbrook predicted just for himself.

To be fair, Westbrook actually had a pretty solid showing for his NFL debut, especially considering the substandard offense around him. If only he wasn't so unrealistic going in.
