Bears DE hilariously apologizes for shoving wrong player
This absolutely hilarious moment was shared by NFL.com's The Checkdown on social media on Friday. It happened weeks ago, but it's so fantastic - just watch.
That's Bears defensive end Akiem Hicks angrily shoving Panthers wide receiver Devin Funchess, who Hicks thought was tight end Chris Manhertz. When Hicks realized he pushed the wrong opponent, he quickly laughed and apologized, though I don't think Funchess was as amused at the time.
Hicks' laugh really makes it so perfect. He went from being annoyed and heated to cracking up over his own mistake in seconds.
At least he said sorry.
