Narduzzi called upset over Miami during halftime

Pittsburgh head coach Pat Narduzzi sounded pretty confident the Panthers would beat Miami … at halftime.

Check out what he said to ESPN with Pitt up 10-7, with two quarters left before his squad would pull off a 24-14 upset of the undefeated Hurricanes:

"Well, you know, it happened in West Virginia, where we knocked off No. 2. It happened in South Carolina, it's happening in Pittsburgh today."

That appears to be a reference to the 2007 Pitt victory over No. 2 West Virginia, as well as the 43-42 win over Clemson last year.

That's some serious confidence, but maybe that's a part of what propelled the Panthers to a huge upset.
