Pitt’s Avonte Maddox wore his own turnover chain
Pittsburgh handed No. 2 Miami its first loss of the season on Friday with a 24-14 win at Heinz Field. Afterwards - and you know this was coming - everyone was trolling the Hurricanes' turnover chain, including the Panthers.
The Miami turnover chain is a 10-karat-gold chain filled with sapphires that players get to wear on the sidelines if they force a turnover.
Following the Panthers' victory, Avonte Maddox, who forced a fumble to seal their win, put on Pitt's version of a turnover chain in the locker room. That must feel good.
