Why Lakers should lob alley-oops to Lonzo
It would be an understatement to say that Lonzo Ball is struggling with his jump shot in his rookie season, but as Ball demonstrated again this week, he's surprisingly apt at throwing down alley-oops. Against the Kings, Ball stuffed home an impressive oop over Willie Cauley-Stein.
Earlier this month, Ball handled this lob from Julius Randle perfectly in a win over the Nuggets.
He can also throw it down in transition.
It's easy to underestimate Ball as an athlete, but he's got some hops. If he works on moving without the ball, the Lakers should be able to make Lonzo lobs a regular occurrence.
