FAU embraces Kiffin's trolling with 'rat poison' tanks

Lane Kiffin's whole "rat poison" thing is getting hilariously out of hand.

To quickly recap, in October, Alabama coach Nick Saban - Kiffin's former boss - described positive media coverage as "rat poison" for his players. As a spectacular social media troll, Kiffin - the first-year head coach at Florida Atlantic, which is playing for the Conference USA title against North Texas on Saturday - has been making rat poison jokes since then.

And now, FAU appears to be in on it too.

Thursday, the Owls' Instagram encourages students to buy conference championship game tickets, and if they do, the school will give them a "Don't take the rat poison" tank top, which also lists off the team's 2017 accomplishments.

Wait, it gets better.

Promoting the shirt - which is still an obvious shot at Saban - Kiffin apparently couldn't help himself and took another jab at his old boss on Twitter, which he knows Saban will probably never see.

This time, Kiffin is referencing Saban's comments from a couple weeks ago when he said he can't figure out why ripped jeans with holes in them are fashionable.

Trolling on top of trolling.
