The internet loved Jimbo Fisher's Christmas tree

Jimbo Fisher didn't actually make an official announcement about his coaching future. But the still-Florida State coach dropped a hint by allegedly putting his Christmas tree on the curb, and people on the internet went nuts over it.

The photo was tweeted by Tallahassee Democrat reporter Wayne McGahee III, the college football world began a frenzied speculation and offered some fantastic jokes.

Fisher told ESPNU SiriusXM radio Thursday he wants to wait until the end of the season to make a decision. For the Seminoles, that's Saturday with their game against Louisiana Monroe, which was postponed from September because of Hurricane Irma.

But shortly after McGahee's tweet, he reported that Fisher's departure to Texas A&M was confirmed by Aggies officials.
