Poker pro escapes huge loss with a genius fold
Sometimes, the best move in poker is the one you don't make by folding a tempting hand.
But rarely do you see a poker pro - or anyone who plays Texas Hold 'Em - fold POCKET KINGS!!!
Yes, that would be the second best starting hand in Hold 'Em. But famed online pro Lex Veldhuis turned it into the most brilliant move ever. During a recent game on Twitch, he sees a player go all in before the flop and figures another will shove in as well. Veldhuis thinks about what his move should be while holding two Kings.
He makes the call: He's folding … and when another player calls the all-in, it turns out Veldhuis made the right move: He would have faced pocket Aces and a King-Ace (meaning he would have had even less of a chance to win).
