Wentz breaks silence after suffering knee injury

The Philadelphia Eagles clinched the NFC East on Sunday, but their Super Bowl hopes looked to have taken a major hit.

Quarterback Carson Wentz hobbled off the field after suffering what the team suspects is a torn ACL. Wentz will have an MRI to confirm the injury, but an ACL tear would end the MVP candidate's season.

Wentz was seen after the game wearing a soft knee brace.

And on Sunday night, he took to Twitter to congratulate his teammates and thank fans for the prayers.

Wentz had thrown for four touchdowns before leaving due to injury. He would later be replaced by Nick Foles.
