Michigan tried, failed to auction off Harbaugh khakis

Jim Harbaugh is the most famous khaki pants wearer in the country - so much so that it's news if he sports anything else, like a sweatsuit and Crocs.

The Michigan football coach is seldom seen changing up his attire - regardless of the occasion - so it kind of makes sense that autographed khakis would be included among some novelty items in a silent auction.

Via the Land of 10:

(A) pair of autographed Harbaugh khakis were being auctioned off at the 2017 Michigan Bust, the team's annual end-of-season awards banquet hosted by the U of M Club of Detroit, on Tuesday night. The bidding for the khakis in the event's silent auction started at $900.

Unfortunately, there were no bidders for the pair of framed khakis.

Apparently the demand for Harbaugh's khakis was a bit overestimated, which is actually kind of surprising given the fame of the coach and his pants.

Probably best to stick to traditional memorabilia next time.
