Boxer shares shocking picture of his face after a fight

Boxing, in case you haven't heard, is a brutal, brutal sport. 21 year-old British boxer Conor Benn just got a harsh reminder of that fact.

Benn is one of the rising stars in the sport. 10-0 with with 8 KOs heading into his December 13th bout with Cedrick Peynaud, he got the win, but he had to work for it. It was a points victory on the end, one which saw Benn hit the canvas twice in the first round - it was the first time he'd ever been knocked down in competition. An impressive comeback, considering what preceded it.

Benn was humble after the fight, calling it a great learning experience.
