WWE announces first women's Royal Rumble
Stephanie McMahon arrived on Monday Night Raw and announced that the women of Raw and SmackDown will compete in the first-ever women's Royal Rumble match at the annual Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
Although McMahon did not specify if the event would include 30 female competitors to mirror the men's event, there are already more than 20 female stars on the main roster, and it's likely we could see stars from NXT and a few legends involved as well. As is tradition for the Royal Rumble match, the woman who emerges victorious will head to WrestleMania for a championship match.
