Dale Jr. drives classic car in upcoming music video
As one of only a few NASCAR drivers to transcend the sport, Dale Earnhardt Jr. has had his fair share of music video cameos over the years. He's appeared in some for several major artists - from Jay Z to Sheryl Crow to Nickelback - and is usually driving.
Now that he's in the early weeks of his retirement from full-time racing, Earnhardt has found the time to be in another and he, of course, has been documenting the experience for JR Nation on Twitter. It's for the rock band The Dangerous Summer, and he'll be driving in this one too.
Earnhardt also posted some behind-the-scenes videos of the filming process Wednesday.
Although Earnhardt has appeared in several music videos, here's a look at FTW's favorite cameo from Jay Z's 2006 song Show Me What You Got. Danica Patrick was also in this.
