LeBron found candy for his daughter during Cavs game
LeBron James was fortunately mic'd up for the Cavaliers game on Thursday night, so we got to hear him as he went on a mission to find candy for his 3-year-old daughter Zhuri, who was in the stands at The Q.
First, you hear James say to her, "Hi momma! … You want candy?" Then, he asks multiple people around the bench if they have any candy on them before finally getting his hands on some and telling security to hand it back to her as he says, "You're welcome! You're welcome!"
That's a pretty awesome NBA family moment. I didn't know that players could get candy to their kids during games, but I guess when you're LeBron James and it's a December game vs. the Chicago Bulls, you can do what you want.
As James wrote in a hashtag when he wished Zhuri a Happy 3rd Birthday in October, "She gets whatever she wants from me."
