Buffalo fans donate to Dalton's foundation

The Buffalo Bills are headed to the playoffs for the first time since 1999 thanks to a miraculous game-winning touchdown in the final minute of Sunday's Bengals-Ravens game. The Bills beat the Dolphins to improve to 9-7 on the season, but needed the Ravens to surrender a late lead to sneak into the postseason.

Andy Dalton found Tyler Boyd with a 49-yard touchdown pass to win the game for Cincinnati, and while the Bills are planning buffalo wings to the Bengals' headquarters as a thank you, Bills fans responded by raising an incredible amount of money for the Andy & Jordan Dalton Foundation.

Dalton noticed on Monday that a number of Bills fans were donating to the foundation, and the money kept pouring in.

By Monday evening, the donations totaled more than $37,000.

On Tuesday, Dalton announced that more than 4,500 donors have contributed more than $100,000 to the foundation, which helps families in need with medical expenses and other issues.

Many of the donations have come in 17-dollar increments, a nod to the 17 years between Buffalo's playoff berths. Good job, Buffalo fans.
