Isaiah Thomas still watches Celtics, even loves flopper Marcus Smart
Isaiah Thomas unfortunately wasn't able to play in the Cavaliers-Celtics game in Boston on Wednesday night after making his debut for the Cavs the night before in Cleveland. Thomas currently isn't playing in back-to-backs and is on a minutes restriction.
But Thomas still talked about his former team in his pregame interview. He said that he's now "all good" with GM Danny Ainge, and he cracked some jokes.
When asked about how often he watches the Celtics, Thomas said he loves everyone - even Marcus Smart who "flopsall the time":
"I watch them a lot. I like how they play. I love Brad Stevens. I love Marcus Smart, even though he flops all the time. I love Terry Rozier. I love the coaching staff. Like I said, there's no hard feelings."
Thomas smiled and added that the "only hard feelings is Danny (Ainge) didn't send me no Christmas card this year … He sent me the last two years. He could've found my address somehow."
It's nice to see there's still lots of love between Thomas and Boston.
