Tom Brady posts cryptic quote after ESPN report
Time for another edition of "What the heck is Tom Brady saying on social media?" a game we've played recently while breaking down a poem the New England Patriots quarterback posted on Instagram.
This time, the social media post in question is another Instagram offering from Brady in which he uses a photo of that famously foggy game at Gillette Stadium this season along with a quote:
A post shared by Tom Brady (@tombrady) on Jan 8, 2018 at 7:01am PST
"Fate whispers to the warrior, 'You cannot withstand the storm.' The warrior whispers back, 'I am the storm.'" - Unknown
Well, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
This could be one of Brady's patented messages for the Pats as they prepare for their first playoff game this season. Or we could read into this a little more.
Maybe the photo depicts the metaphorical fog that's descended on the franchise because of the recent ESPN report that reveals internal strife that involves Brady, Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft. And wouldn't you describe that reported situation as a "storm" that you'd have to "withstand" in order to win another championship?
