Lowry said he showed up to meet Simmons in hallway
Kyle Lowry and Ben Simmons were ejected after a ridiculous on-court exchange during the 76ers' win on Monday. At one point, Simmons appeared to motion towards the tunnel for Lowry to meet him there.
While it looked that Simmons' invitation for a hallway throwdown was just for show, Lowry took it seriously.
When the Raptors guard spoke to reporters on Tuesday, he said that he actually showed up in the hallway to confront Simmons.
It doesn't sound like Simmons showed up, though. Simmons told reporters after the game that he went straight to the locker room after the ejection to Lowry's disappointment.
If only Wells Fargo Center had a secret passageway between locker rooms for Lowry.
