Lawmakers want to make UCF champion license plate
UCF finished its season with an undefeated 13-0 record, which was an impressive accomplishment that deserved celebrating. It claimed a national title, which was sort of strange - but the school did pay coaches a championship bonus.
Since then, though, the entire UCF NATIONAL CHAMPION campaign has been a bit much. On the night of the CFP national title game, UCF held a trophy presentation ceremony in Orlando after being named the Reddit national champions. Now, Florida lawmakers want to commemorate the totally made-up national championship with a specialty license plate.

The bill, HB 1359, was filed last week and its design was released Wednesday, featuring "National Champions" emblazoned on the bottom.
"I am incredibly proud of our national champions," said Rep. Carlos Guillermo Smith, a Democrat who represents the district that includes UCF's campus. "A UCF license plate is the perfect way to commemorate our undefeated Knights for achieving this historic milestone."
If the bill passes, the UCF plate would need to meet a 3,000-pre-order threshold before it can be produced.
