10 best things NASCAR drivers are doing in offseason
The NASCAR offseason is exceptionally short compared with most other professional sports. It's only about three months long, and drivers still have plenty of work obligations scattered in their schedules.
But when they have time to get away from the job, they know how to have fun. From going on fun vacations to having babies to racing other vehicles, here's what some of the top drivers have been up to since the NASCAR Cup Series ended in mid-November.
1. Kyle and Samantha Busch went to Mexico and caught a monster fish
Kyle Busch and his family jetted off to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and they documented the highlights their trip on social media, including Samantha catching this giant fish.
2. Jimmie Johnson went skiing
Johnson is an active guy and avid skier, along with the rest of his family, so it's no surprise he hit the slopes.
3. and he dragged Dale Earnhardt Jr. into it, too
Just one more new activity Junior is blaming on Johnson.
4. Denny Hamlin did karaoke with Roger Clemens and Johnny Damon

6. Kevin Harvick played race car driver with his newborn daughter
Harvick is among the NASCAR drivers whose families got a little bigger this offseason when his wife, DeLana, had their second child in December - a girl named Piper Grace.
7. Joey Logano also had a baby
Logano and his wife, Brittany, had their first child earlier this month, and they recently shared some adorable photos of their newborn son.
8. Ryan Blaney (finally) got a haircut
This is a pretty routine thing for most people. But Blaney's long locks were famous, and the NASCAR world freaked out when he finally chopped off his hair.
9. Chase Elliott mourned Georgia's college football national championship loss
Like every other Bulldogs fan, the Georgia native took this loss hard.
10. Kasey Kahne, Kyle Larson and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. kept racing
