Eagles players tell NFL to donate t-shirt proceeds

The NFL's official shop is selling t-shirts with a picture of the Eagles' Chris Long wearing his now-famous dog mask. It's officially called the "Philadelphia Eagles NFL Pro Line by Fanatics Branded Black Super Bowl LII Bound Underdog T-Shirt" and sells for $27.99 in the NFL's official shop - one of many options for fans looking to celebrate their team's trip to the Super Bowl.

But Long and teammate Lane Johnson were not impressed - despite one poor social media team's misguided attempt to get them to promote the product.

Johnson capitalized on the popularity of the dog masks worn by the Eagles players before the NFC Championship once he realized fans were scrambling to get them: He partnered with Oldies.com to sell the masks and have 65 percent of the proceeds go to Philadelphia schools. He raised, according to reports, more than $100,000. Long, meanwhile, donated his salary from the 2017 regular season to help stamp out inequality.
