Why Dale Jr. wants his daughter born early
Dale Earnhardt Jr. cannot wait for his wife, Amy, to give birth to their first child - a daughter expected in the spring.
The newly retired driver has been quite vocal about his impatience, joking in October that the baby is "just taking forever."
But now, Junior simply would like the baby to be born just a few days early - three days, to be exact. According to The Charlotte Observer, the baby is due on May 2, but if she's born three days early, she'll share an April 29th birthday with the late Dale Earnhardt Sr.
More via The Charlotte Observer's Scott Fowler:
"How cool would that be?" Dale Jr. told me Tuesday. "I would love that."
