Vince McMahon botches Darren Rovell's name

WWE's Vince McMahon held his first teleconference since the announcement of XFL's reboot for 2020. In that call, McMahon addressed his league's stance on social issues, Colin Kaepernick and Tim Tebow.

He also gave ESPN's Darren Rovell a new name.

When Rovell was introduced to ask a question, McMahon called him "Dan" instead of Darren, which was followed by an awkward pause.

The mixup didn't get by Twitter. Not even close. If/when this league fails for a second time, the "Dan" Rovell mixup will likely be its biggest legacy.
