Matt Barnes blasts Doc Rivers after Griffin trade

Matt Barnes is no longer playing in the NBA, but he hasn't let retirement keep him away from the NBA drama.

Just months after reaching a new contract with All-Star forward Blake Griffin, the Los Angeles Clippers traded Griffin to the Detroit Pistons for Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, Boban Marjanovic, a first-round draft pick in 2018 and a second-round pick in 2019.

Upon learning of the trade, Barnes took to Instagram and ripped his former head coach.

He wrote:

So you trade this guy after paying him this much money..? When everyone in the organization & everyone who's played there knows DOC IS THE PROBLEM!!! Smfh cold game! Make sure you pack a jacket BG!!! Love Bro

Barnes publicly criticized Rivers just two weeks ago and claimed in 2015 that Rivers never wanted him on the team.

Barnes played two seasons under Rivers with the Clippers before moving on to Memphis in 2015.
