Justin Timberlake mum on who he's rooting for
Before Justin Timberlake performs his halftime show at the Super Bowl on Sunday, he had to meet with the media on Thursday to chat about his halftime show, his album and mostly just dodge questions about everything from what team he's rooting for to the meaning of lyrics on his album.
Here's what we did learn:
1. He will not fall in the trap of telling the world which team he's rooting for - despite one Boston reporter's best efforts to get him to say he was rooting for the Patriots.
2. The only halftime show guest that he would reveal is his band, "The Tennessee Kids".
3. He also thinks Tom Brady is great.
After the Patriots quarterback put the performer on his list of "man crushes" earlier this week (behind his Patriots teammates), Timberlake was asked if he too has a man crush on Brady. After a lot of back-and-forth and a declaration that Brady has "great hair", it was affirmed that the feeling was mutual. "The feeling is reciprocated, if you want to make this official," he said.
4. Thing that was not asked despite being the one thing everyone wanted to talk about:
