Blake Griffin played in his first game with the Pistons in Detroit on Thursday following the shocking trade that sent him from the Los Angeles Clippers to the Motor City.
The five-time All-Star scored his first points in a Pistons jersey less than two minutes into their game against the Grizzlies.

While Griffin wasn't happy to find out about the trade on Twitter like everyone else, he said that he's glad that he's now with a franchise that wants him.
"I want to play for an organization that wants me to play there and clearly this was an organization that wanted me to play here," Griffin said. "Being stuck in a no-trade clause, it was something that was brought up but it wasn't something that we actually went about obviously, so this is where I want to be, this is a place that wants me and that's the type of organization I want to play for."
