NFL fans roast the Colts' old McDaniels tweets
The Indianapolis Colts had announced their hire. They had a press conference set for Wednesday. Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels was going to be their next head coach.
But then, he wasn't.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Tuesday that McDaniels had a change of heart and decided to remain with New England as offensive coordinator.
It was obviously shocking for McDaniels to renege on his agreement with the Colts - this just doesn't happen in the NFL. But since the Colts had already announced the hire on Twitter, NFL fans had fun roasting the Colts' tweets from just hours earlier. Enjoy:
Twitter remains undefeated.
