Patriots sideline skeptical before Eagles' trick call

Nick Foles' second-quarter touchdown catch off a "Philly Special" trick play was already one of the gutsiest calls in Super Bowl history.

The Eagles were in a fourth-and-goal situation and up three points just before half - a scenario that most would kick an easy field goal and take the points. The Patriots certainly didn't think the Eagles would actually go for it.

NFL SoundFX captured the pre-snap conversations of both Eagles and Patriots players. We've already heard how Foles asked Doug Pederson to run the epic play. On the other end of the field, the Patriots were skeptical.

"It's a no-brainer. He ain't gonna go for it," Patriots running back Dion Lewis told James White.

When the Eagles ended up scoring on the trick play, Lewis then said, "They hit us with ours."

"That was a good play," Patriots safety Patrick Chung said on the field.

The Patriots did not see that call coming at all.
