Red Gerard's family shotgunned beers at 8:30 a.m.
Few are having a better time at the Olympics than the family of 17-year-old gold medalist Red Gerard.
Gerard, who gave Team USA their first medal of the Pyeongchang Winter Games with a slopestyle win, was asked how his family was enjoying the experience during his press conference.

That was when the teenager described an epic Snapchat he got at 8:30 a.m. from his family. They were shotgunning beers to get ready to watch Red win the event.
"I'd say they've been having a good time, yes," Red added.
He was the youngest American to win gold at the Winter Olympics since 1928.
