USA snowboarding jackets have Korean translations
This is pretty cool and some of it is very funny.
The NBC Olympics Instagram account posted this photo of what's inside the jackets of Team USA snowboarders: It's a list of English phrases translated to Korean, plus conversion rates, the time zone change, and a Celsius-to-Fahrenheit chart:
There are a few things to note here: First, it's not phonetically translated, which might be a problem. But imagine a scenario in which a snowboarder needed help, so he or she would strip off the jacket and point. It could work!
Then, there are some of the phrases included. There's:
Hello, I love you!
Do you want to go sing karaoke?
What is your zodiac sign?
Just perfect.
