Chloe Kim's advice: Don't mix chocolate, churros and sandwich
Seventeen-year-old snowboarding sensation Chloe Kim made headlines for her stunning halfpipe performance Tuesday, winning her first Olympic gold medal and easily beating her competition.
But the American also loves food - and talking about food - and she even tweeted about it in the middle of the halfpipe competition, saying how much she regretted not finishing her breakfast sandwich. But Kim has also expressed her love for ice cream and churros - which apparently calm her nerves - so when she was on the TODAY Show after winning gold, she was presented with all of the above.
Not knowing where to start first, Kim started eating both the sandwich and a churro with chocolate, before going in face-first for a taste of the ice cream. However, she joked that the flavor combination there isn't exactly ideal.
"OK, don't mix chocolate, churros and a sandwich. It just doesn't really work, but I'm glad I tried it."
