LaVar Ball performed Nas on 'Lip Sync Battle'

Could this be the start of Nas vs. the Ball family, round two?

Outspoken father of an NBA player LaVar Ball did his best performance of Nas' 'Hate Me Now' in a "battle" against his son, Lonzo, on the wonderfully delightful show Lip Sync Battle.

The song choice likely wasn't a random one: Lonzo accidentally offended the rapper when he said he wasn't relevant anymore, apologized and then wore his face on a hoodie while walking into a game earlier this season. Nas responded by trolling him on Instagram about the Knicks beat the Lakers.

So just when we thought this wonderful chapter of NBA drama was over, LaVar's performance on Lip Sync Battle could do wonders for re-starting it, just in time for the All-Star break.

Lonzo's response?

"Can I tell you something LL?" Lonzo said to LL Cool J. "If I was Nas, I'd be mad he put a performance like that on my song."
