Flat-Earther Kyrie Irving got a globe from Jimmy Kimmel

Kyrie Irving visited Jimmy Kimmel this week to talk about his new Uncle Drew project, the All-Star Game, and of course his relationship with LeBron James and that time he said the earth might be flat.

Here were some of the highlights

Were you happy/surprised that LeBron picked you?

Irving: "I feel like it was a great choice."

When asked if they could ever be on the same team again (other than the All-Star game?)

"I mean in professional sports anything can happen, you never know."

On the flat earth theory:

Irving: "You know I've always tried to take that statement back. On that podcast I was really like man what's going on within our world and just a whole bunch of truth and conspiracy and I was like, whoa this is too much for me and then I come out and say that and whew the reaction that got.

Kimmel: "Yes, because people thought maybe your brain collapsed."

Irving: "No, it didn't, I'm actually intellectual."

Kimmel then gave him a globe, which is an interesting thing to look at for people who believe the earth is flat (or even those who have insisted they don't.)
