Posey pushes McCutchen out of box after long HR
We're not even in March yet, and Andrew McCutchen is already showing up his new Giants teammates.
During Tuesday's spring training session in Scottsdale, Ariz., McCutchen destroyed a live batting practice pitch from Madison Bumgarner.
Seriously, he crushed that baseball. It even drew a smile from Bumgarner.
But wait for catcher Buster Posey's response.
When the baseball finally landed, Posey told McCutchen that his batting time was done. He jokingly pushed McCutchen out of the box. After all, Posey couldn't have his ace getting embarrassed like that a week into spring training.
He had seen enough.
But don't worry: It was all in good fun. Posey and McCutchen have known each other since their high school days. They were teammates on a junior Olympic team in Taiwan.
