Rodgers tweets at Hamilton before curling gold medal game

Curler Matt Hamilton is from Wisconsin, so therefore, he is a huge Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers fan. Earlier in the Winter Olympics, Hamilton got a big boost when the Packers quarterback tweeted his support for Hamilton (and his mustache) in the Games.

And ahead of Saturday's gold-medal game against Sweden, he got another shoutout from Rodgers.

Before the game, Hamilton tweeted a pumped up message, rallying support for his underdog team in the final. And someone replied with a mustache-heavy GIF of Rodgers.

And that's when Rodgers chimed in, reminding Hamilton of the #powerofthestash.

Hamilton and Team USA won its first ever gold medal Saturday, topping Sweden, 10-7.

Throughout the Olympics, Hamilton's looks - in large part thanks to his now-famous mustache - have been compared to both Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid and Super Mario.
